Nutritional Guidance

What we eat affects every aspect of our health--physical, mental, emotional, spiritual and even social. I have long been interested in nutrition, and before I became a clinician I did years of nutrition research. I think about nutrition as having five components—

  • water
  • carbohydrates, fats, proteins
  • vitamins, minerals, related substances
  • enzymes
  • probiotics

A healthy digestive system enjoys a balance of these components…and most people who don't feel well benefit from adjusting this balance.

I offer my patients help in achieving this balance suited to their own circumstances and needs. I also work up recommendations for particular issues, such as preserving memory as we age, minimizing ADHD effects, aiding weight loss, maintaining bone strength, or miminizing menopausal symptoms.
